A Motivation of Quiver Invariant Theory 

In this talk, I will provide a motivation of my recent work on quiver invariant theory (QIT) from robust subspace recovery (RSR). We shall see  that the existence of an RSR solution is equivalent to the instability of the associated representation of quiver, and an optimal RSR solution corresponds to a subrepresentation that contradicts the stability condition the most. If time permits, I will briefly describe some results in my recent work.
